A medical termination is a safe, non-surgical way to end an early pregnancy using two different medications.

Timing and how far along you are
Medical termination of pregnancy is available up to 9 weeks (63 days) of gestation.
If you are unsure of your exact timing, our team will calculate or confirm your gestation during your initial assessment.

Your consultation and assessment
Your initial appointment takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes, and can be either in-clinic or by telehealth.
You do not need a referral from another doctor to book.

The fee for medical termination of pregnancy care at Mahila Women's Clinic is $400.
This is a confirmed service fee, so the medical consultation fee schedule below does not apply. Ask reception what the fee covers, and whether any additional costs apply, when you book.

Mahila Women's Clinic is a private billing practice. The following medical consultation fees apply unless a service page states a different confirmed fee.
A Medicare rebate may apply to an eligible medical consultation. The item billed depends on the service provided, the actual consultation time, the clinician and Medicare requirements.
Procedures, pathology, imaging, products, equipment and other services may involve additional costs. Relevant additional fees should be shown on the individual service page or discussed before the service is provided.
