Mahila Women's Clinic

Aesthetic and Dermal Services

A considered approach to skin, hair and appearance.

Mahila offers aesthetic and dermal treatments in a private clinical setting. Every treatment begins with a consultation to understand your concerns, assess suitability and explain what you can realistically expect.

Taking time to consider aesthetic care before treatment

Care before treatment

Aesthetic care should begin with a proper assessment, not a predetermined procedure. Your clinician will consider your skin, medical history, current products, previous treatments and the result you are hoping to achieve.

If a treatment is not suitable, or another approach would be more appropriate, this should be explained before you decide whether to proceed.

02

Current aesthetic and dermal services

Aesthetic and dermal care at Mahila is organised into the service areas below. Every treatment begins with a consultation so suitability, limitations and aftercare can be explained before you decide whether to proceed.

Skin rejuvenation treatment in a clinical setting

03

Skin rejuvenation

Consultation-led dermal treatments intended to support skin quality, tone and appearance concerns.

  • 01

Fractional mesotherapy for skin — treatment areas, expected response and whether a course is recommended are discussed beforehand

  • 02

Chemical peels — selected for your skin, concerns and tolerance, with preparation and aftercare explained before treatment

  • 03

LED treatments — light-based care chosen according to your skin concerns and plan

  • 04

Advanced facials — individualised treatments considering skin condition, sensitivity, routine and goals

Hair and scalp dermal treatment

04

Hair and scalp

Dermal treatment for selected hair and scalp concerns. Hair loss can have several causes, so medical assessment or further investigation may be recommended where appropriate.

  • 01

    Fractional mesotherapy for hair loss

Preparation for selected lesion care

05

Selected lesion care

Treatment for selected benign skin lesions after assessment of the lesion and suitability for diathermy. Lesions that need medical diagnosis or further investigation are directed through an appropriate clinical pathway.

  • 01

    Diathermy for lesion removal

06

Your consultation

Know what the treatment involves before you decide.

Your clinician may ask about:

  • 01

the skin, hair or appearance concern you want to address

  • 02

your medical history, medication and allergies

  • 03

    pregnancy or breastfeeding where relevant

  • 04

    current skincare and active ingredients

  • 05

    previous cosmetic or dermal treatments

  • 06

skin sensitivity, pigmentation and healing history

  • 07

the result you hope to achieve

The consultation should explain whether the treatment is suitable, expected benefits and limitations, possible side effects, preparation, aftercare, costs and whether more than one session may be considered.

07

Realistic expectations and informed choice

Responses to aesthetic and dermal treatments vary. No treatment can guarantee a particular result, and some concerns may need medical assessment rather than a cosmetic procedure.

You should have the information and time needed to make your own decision. Ask questions about anything that is unclear before providing consent or proceeding with treatment.
